I am Mizuho Mizutani, please call me “Mizu” that means water in Japanese. I have worked as National-licensed English Tour guide since 2001, for more than 20 years. Now I am CEO of Mizu Trans Corporation LLC and President of K-iTG (Kyushu Association of Interpreters, Translators and Guide-Interpreters)
My interest is green tourism and eco-tourism including arranging farm stay program, by closely communicating with local people and match customer needs. I have a high-level of interpretation skill in the field of semiconductor, mechanical and machinery, automobile and I often do simultaneous interpretations from/to English and Japanese in technical meetings.
Graduated from National Kyushu University, Fukuoka Japan, in 1993, majored in Social Geography. Worked for Grand Hyatt Fukuoka as Bilingual Secretary in Human Resources Div. from 1996-1998. I am a mother of two daughters (24 and 21 yrs).
I established my own company that specialized in interpretation and translation service, and tour coordination. This is my 7th year since I was selected as President of newly-established interpreter’s association in Kyushu, now it is the biggest professional interpreters’ association in Kyushu Island. We will be hosting the WFTGA 2026 convention (World Federation of Tourist Guide Association) here in Fukuoka, Japan.
