Hi. I am Tommy living in Kumamoto. I was born and raised here in Kumamoto and so proud of the castle we have here. I live in one of the two castle towns, only 5minutes away from the castle and I see so many tourists enjoying the castle every day. I would love to guide you in and around Kumamoto Castle. There is also a strolling park called Suizenji Park, 15 minutes away from the castle by tram. You can enjoy beautiful views and green tea there. I am also learning Japanese tea ceremony, flower arrangement and calligraphy. It would be wonderful for me to share my experience with you on Japanese culture, too.
