About

I have extensive interpreting and coordination experience from organizing international events and managing a nonprofit in Tomakomai near Chitose Airport. My services include hands-on cooking sessions—like tempura making and mochi pounding—and inviting guests into my home for an authentic cultural experience. I also provide guided car tours and can show visitors popular sights throughout Hokkaido.

Deeply fascinated by Ainu culture, I visit Nibutani around fifty times a year to learn traditional cuisine and crafts, and I’m committed to sharing this heritage. In addition, I host a homestay program for fifteen American high school students annually, which has earned strong praise from both participants and local residents. My aim is to offer experiences of Japan that can’t be found on social media.
