In ancient times, Sake was a sacred offering dedicated to the deities. Even now, Sake is indispensable for occasions when people’s hearts and mind gather into one, such as banquets, festivals and Shinto rituals. Sake is deeply involved in Japanese traditional culture.

    Ozawa Brewery

    Ozawa Brewery was established in 1702. Sawanoi, which is the Brewery's brand, has more than 300 years of history of making sake. There is a beautiful garden with spectacular views of mountains and the Mitake valley.

    Ishikawa Brewery

    Ishikawa Brewery was founded near the Tamagawa river in 1863. The Brewery has been transferred to the current location, Fussa city in 1880. They also produce craft beer at the same location.
