The Akashi Kaikyo Ohashi Bridge is the world’s longest suspension bridge with a total length of 3,911 meters. There are plenty of things to enjoy in the bridge's vicinity, such as viewing the bridge from its promenade below, crossing over it, and strolling through the adjacent park. The height of the main towers is about 300 meters above sea level, which is about the same height as the Tokyo Tower (333 meters). The very best of bridge technology was gathered in this bridge's construction over the Akashi Strait, where the tidal current is violent and the water is deep. It's an impressive sight, and certainly worth taking a trip to go visit.
