The Akibahara Radio Center is a shopping arcade for electronics in the Akihabara Electric Town area of Tokyo, Japan. It is crowded with small local electronics stores that sell computer components and other tools. It has an old-fashioned flair to it that evokes the Japan of the second half of the twentieth century. In fact, the center's history goes back to the early post-war period when Japan was occupied by the United States (GHQ). The Akihabara Radio Store that closed in 2013 was very similar to the Akihabara Radio Center.
