Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama located in the Arashiyama area of western Kyoto. With around 120 Japanese Macaque monkeys who reside in a natural environment up on a large hill, you can see the monkeys all year around regardless of the season. The park itself is a nice stroll and when you climb to the top you can get a great view of Kyoto city from the viewing platform, all whilst interacting with the monkeys! There are also designated areas where you can feed the monkeys and see them play in their natural environment.
