Opened in 1991, The Asahi Beer Ibaraki Brewery is one of Japan's largest beer manufacturing lines. Sitting on 13,000 square feet, this state of the art brewery is located in Moriya City and offers factory tours to visitors. The tour starts with a video presentation about the company and will then be accompanied by a special guide who will walk visitors through the brewing process in its entirety. The tour is topped off by a beer tasting where you can enjoy up to three drinks. There are non-alcoholic options for children. Please note that the legal drinking age in Japan is 20 and you may be asked to present a photo ID.
