Chichibu Geo Gravity Park opened in 2019 and is Japan's first gravity-themed activity park. Created using the nature of the Arakawa River canyon, the park consists of three activities that let participants experience gravity. At the Canyon Walk, visitors cross a 50-meter-high bridge that is suspended by just four wires; the Canyon Fly is a round-trip zipline spanning the Arakawa River canyon; and at the Canyon Swing, the first of its kind in Japan, visitors sit on an oversized swing and ride across the canyon as if drawing the trajectory of a giant pendulum. Each of the activities offers breathtaking views of the scenery of the Arakawa River canyon, so no matter which one you choose you're sure to have not just a fun time, but a truly memorable experience surrounded by nature.
Day-of participation in the activities is possible if there are openings, but only a limited number of people can participate each day, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance.
