Located in Akita Prefecture, the massive oddly shaped rock shares an uncanny resemblance to the famous theatrical monster “Godzilla”. Thus earning the name “Godzilla Rock” by many locals and visitors. However, do not be fooled this is a natural creation, carved by the Sea of Japan.
