Kaiseizan Koen Park is a lakeside park in the center of Koriyama City, Fukushima prefecture. Unassuming for the greater part of the year, the discerning eye will be able to notice that some 1300 of the park's trees are in fact cherry blossom trees. The pride and joy of Koriyama City's Asaka district; during cherry blossom season, there are few sights as beautiful. If you are lucky enough to visit during cherry blossom season, your time would be well spent wandering around the park and enjoying the meals of the local vendors.
