Kanezaki Kamaboko Museum located in the city of Sendai in Miyagi prefecture, is a free entry museum where you can learn and make first hand your own Kamaboko, which is a type of is a type of cured surimi, a processed seafood product that is commonly found in Japanese cuisine, like soups and noodle dishes etc. It is made with a variety of white fish that has been steamed and cooked until firm.
