Michinoeki Nachi is a roadside station at the gateway to Mt. Nachisan. On premises, there is local agricultural produce for sale as well as an onsen facility called Tanshiki no Yu at which you can look out at Mt. Nachisan while you bathe. You can also easily take a visit to the Kumano Nachi World Heritage Information Center where you can experience and learn about the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kumano Nachi. The bellflower cherry trees in the parking bloom early, usually between January and early February, which is a popular sight for tourists.
