Morito Kaigan Beach is one of the most famous spots on the coast of the Miura Peninsula south of Kamakura. The main reason is the stunning view that it provides on clear days, including of Enoshima Island and Mt. Fuji in the distance. The beach front is rocky and narrow, but is a very popular area for summer BBQs. However, if you go a bit further, you end up at the sandy Morito beach which turns into a popular getaway for urbanites during summer and is good for swimming and sunbathing.
