Focusing on fish found in the region, Notojima Aquarium is located in Ishikawa Prefecture. With over 40,000 sea creatures of 500 different species, the aquarium plays host to quite the collection of vibrant marine life. Visitors can even see whale sharks and other large fish swimming in a massive 1,600-ton water tank, truly an incredible site. From the dolphins’ paradise to sea lion show, and opportunities to actually feed some of the sea creatures too, this hands on aquarium has something for people of all ages!
