The Amakazari Kogen Rotenburo in Otari Onsen is a scenic, natural outdoor bath. It is surrounded by a beech forest and makes you feel like you are in the middle of nature. The premise belongs to the Amazakari guest house which is located just a 3-minute walk away. There is no fixed admission fee for the rotenburo bath but the guesthouse requests donations which are used to pay the cleaning staff. Note that there are no on-site showers to clean yourself before entering the bath. If you need to rinse yourself before visiting the bath, you can make use of the facilities at the Amazakari guesthouse's day bath (for a separate fee).
