The Ryusogataki Falls are a waterfall in the woods of Ikeda town, Fukui Prefecture. The water falls from a height of 60m, creating a nice scenery that has been designated as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls. It is particularly beautiful during the autumn foliage season. The waterfall is easily accessible, under the assumption that you have a car. Please note that the area around the waterfall is closed off during the winter period (late November to end of March).
