The Shiroyone Senmaida Rice Terraces are located in Wajima city (Ishikawa Prefecture) and are facing the Sea of Japan. The rare sight of small rice fields leading up to the coast has given the spot the reputation of being one of the most beautiful rice terraces in the country and was registered as a national cultural property. It is one of the most famous tourist spots in the Okunoto region and is part of the “Noto Peninsula Satoya Satoumi” agricultural heritage.
