The Shosenkyo Gorge is located in the north of Kofu city. It is registered as a national scenic spot and is considered the most beautiful gorge in Japan. The granite cliffs that were shaped over the ages, rocks of all shapes and sizes, and the clear streams are a sight to behold. Walking across the path that follows along the gorge, you have a rare opportunity to enjoy the seasonal scenery.
