Yoyogi Park or Yoyogi Koen is a popular park for jogging and picnicking in Shibuya, Tokyo. Popular seasons to visit are spring and autumn. In spring, Yoyogi Park turns into a great spot for cherry blossom viewing. In autumn, the park's ginko trees turn golden. The park is very spacious compared to other parks in Tokyo. Before being turned into a public park, it served as the site of the Olympic Village in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The park is located next to Meiji Shrine in the Harajuku district, not far from Shibuya.
