Yuzawa

Yuzawa, located in Niigata prefecture is an extremely popular tourist destination famous for it's top level ski-resorts, beautiful scenery and hot springs. It is also one of the easiest to reach ski-resorts from Tokyo, at around 80 minutes on the shinkansen (bullet-train). Yuzawa itself is a town surrounded by the beautiful Japanese alps, with many ski-resorts and countless ski-courses for all levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
