Chidorigafuchi Moat is a moat located North-West of the Imperial Palace and is a beautiful place to visit all year round, with the cherry blossom being the most popular season. During the cherry blossom season (late March to early April), the entire moat is a lavish pink paradise of scenic paths. The magic doesn't stop at night either, as the trees are lit up during the night creating a special romantic atmosphere across the moat and surrounding pathways. Paddle boats are also available to rent to explore the moat and get a more personal look at the Imperial Palace and surrounding foliage.
