The Fukiware, no Taki Waterfalls of Gunma prefecture, is a series of falls in Gunma prefecture. Many millennia of erosion has created a series of crevices for the water to fall into, making for a very scenic view. Affectionately referred to as the Japanese Niagara falls, it was designated as a national treasure in 1936. It is best viewed when all of the leaves in the surrounding forests are in their autumnal colors, this location is great for the whole family.
