A basin area surrounded by mountain lines, Oze National Park is recognized for a well-preserved natural habitat. It is also being designated as a Special Preservation Area and Japan’s National Natural Monument, making Oze an important spot for academic botanical and historical study as well. Since 2005, Oze National Park has also been registered in the “Ramsar Convention”. With its reaching views, lush greenery, seasonal flora, Oze National Park is a great destination for nature lovers to explore.
Cautions for Mountain Climbing
Much of Oze National Park is mountainous. The sights that have been introduced here can be reached on foot from mountain trails. When climbing the mountains, be sure to prepare equipment and clothing appropriate for the season in advance and plan so as to give yourself ample time.
