Towering 234 meters above the city, The Fukuoka Tower, is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. The triangular structure, located in Fukuoka Prefecture, is also referred to as “Mirror sail” given its design. The tower provides an observation deck 123 meters high on the top floor of the skyscraper part of the tower where visitors can marvel at the panoramic view of the sea and the city below. Additionally, the towers Lover’s Sanctuary is popular for couples who are allowed to hang heart-shaped locks along the railing overlooking the city. At night guest can also enjoy the beautiful sight as the streets below light up and the building itself lights up the night sky.
