Art & Architecture History

Hiroshima Castle is a castle from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and an important historic monument. The main castle tower survived intact until World War Two when it was destroyed by the atomic bomb, but it is now rebuilt. Inside the castle you will find an exhibition about Japanese warrior (samurai) culture and history.
