If there is one point to describe Hokoku-Ji Temple by, then it would be its beautiful bamboo garden. It is a garden filled with about 2,000 bamboo trees, whose grace can be felt all year round. Moreover, with the density of trees, a light walk among the Kamakura Takebayashi (Bamboo Forest) Temple can provide an immediate escape into the calm, lush green landscape. Inside the bamboo garden, you should take a moment to relax with some Japanese matcha tea at the Kyukoan tea house.
