Kappabashi Bridge is a scenic, wooden suspension bridge in the mountain resort of Kamikochi. Its design has been praised for its harmonious integration with the surrounding nature. Although there had been a wooden bridge in its location in the past decades, the current suspension design was created in 1910. The wood has since been renewed multiple times. While the bridge itself is beautiful by itself, it is also a great viewing spot for the surrounding mountains.
