Kinchakuda Manjushage Koen Park

Beautiful Scenery

The Kinchakuda came to be called that because the meandering shape of the river resembles kinchaku (=a drawstring money pouch). In September, 5 million red spider lilies (manjushage) blossom in full glory, the entire area turns ruby red, and it looks as if it had been spread with a red carpet. This is a park rich in nature, where cherry and rape blossoms are at their best in the spring, and hydrangea from mid-June to early July.
