Makido Cave is a limestone cave in Okayama Prefecture. It is 450m long and features an underground lake. The cave is illuminated for visitors in various colors, creating a mystical atmosphere. Unless you have a good camera that can deal with dark scenes, it might be difficult to get a good photograph, though. The cave is cool throughout the year, which is nice during hot summers. It is located in a nature park in Niimi.
