According to the official website, the Takahashi Farm was born out of the desire to feed and treat cows better by providing good soil and good grass. The owner had previously witnessed illnesses and premature deaths of cows in Hokkaido caused by malnutrition and bad farming conditions during the time of milk price struggles, and wanted to change these practices.
