If you are visiting the Niseko area in Hokkaido during summer, the OAC Niseko Balloon and Niseko Raft are some great activities to try out. OAC is short for Outdoor Amusement Company and provides a wide array of options from canyon sightseeing, rafting, and hot-air balloon mooring. During the season (usually between early June to late September), the Hot Air Balloon rides are offered twice daily, one in the early morning and one in the early evening. The balloon rises up about 30m and offers a panoramic view of the Niseko Annupuri area. If you want to get more active and adventurous, you might also be interested in the raft on the Shiribetsugawa River.
