Dedicated to all things tea ceremony, Ohi Museum exhibits the ceramic ware from the Chozaemon family who are masters in the Ohi ware tradition. Located in the Kaga area of Ishikawa Prefecture, the museum is made up of four exhibition rooms that exhibit Ohi ceramics from different periods and associated tea utensils. Currently, in its eleventh generation, Ohi ware is known for being rugged yet elegant to the eye. Here, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the importance ceramic ware plays in Japanese culture and the tea ceremony.
