The Osaka Suijo Bus Aqua-Liner is an aquatic bus that tours a river flowing through Osaka, allowing passengers to enjoy the cityscape and a variety of sightseeing spots throughout the city. There are four different boarding points for the aquatic bus, and riding for only a segment of the tour is also allowed. This way, the buses can be used not just to enjoy the scenery, but also as a means of transportation between Osaka's many sightseeing spots. 
 
The Aqua-Liner tours the Okawa River, which flows through central Osaka. This is a lovely area where graceful architecture and the green of the surrounding trees coexist. Aqua Metropolis Osaka, which can be seen from the river, is different from how Osaka is generally thought of; the beautiful waterfront scenery is brimming with nature, even at the city center. This, and other unique experiences such as passing under bridges instead of over them, are the true charm of aquatic buses. Don't pass up the chance to spend some leisurely time gazing out at the cityscape of Osaka from the comfortable interior of a boat. 
 
In addition to the Aqua-Liner, there are several other aquatic buses that differ in appearance and design: the Aqua Mini, the Himawari, and the Santa Maria. You can choose which cruise you take based on your preferences and your plans for the day.
