Seto Aikyo Gorge is a scenic spot chosen as one of Tochigi's top 100 scenic spots and it is also famous for autumn foliage. It is located upstream of the Kinugawa River, and has a vertical cliff with a depth of 100m that continues for about 1.2mi(2km). From the suspension bridge “Watarasshai Suspension Bridge” built on the cliff in front of the Kawamata Dam, you can get an impressive view of the cliff up close! There is a photo spot called “Tenshi no Kane (angel bell)” near the suspension bridge, and it is said that happiness will come when you ring the bell. Since the promenade is well established toward the crossing suspension bridge, you can enjoy hiking about for an hour. There is also a course where you can stop at one-day hot spring facilities.
