Sunport Takamatsu is a terminal for land and sea transportation as well as a business area complete with hotels and parks. The Takamatsu Symbol Tower, the biggest high-rise tower in Shikoku, is also located in the area, and it is equipped with an international conference area and business facilities. It also comes as a recommended gourmet spot, with Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisines available at the Sky Restaurant and a variety of individualistic ramen shops gathered at the Ramen Port. On the first Sunday of every month, the Sanuki Marche is held at Sunport Takamatsu, where patrons can purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables while conversing directly with the manufacturers. Another allure of the Marche is the suggestions of local chefs on "oishii tabekata," literally "how to eat delicious," through dishes using local ingredients.
