Suwako Lake BBQ Marina is a public barbecue area on the pier of Suwako Lake. Located right on the water, clear days offer a view of the Japanese Alps, and at night the beautiful skyline surrounds the lake. There are meal plans available that include thickly-cut steaks and fresh local vegetables, and the on-site barbecue instructors will even start up the grills themselves, so visitors don’t have to worry about bringing anything with them. For those wishing for an even more unique experience, there is a Shinshu Game Meister is on location, and gibier (deer meat) can be ordered when making a reservation. This facility is reservation only, so make sure to contact them by noon the day before you plan to visit.
