Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum located in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, is one the leading dinosaur museums in the world, dedicated to the research of dinosaurs and educating the general public about them. In the otherwise innocuous location of Fukui, the museum is in fact located just a few kilometers away from some of Japan's largest most fruitful dinosaur excavation sites, and the museums's research facility is an international one, meaning extensive information in English is also available for visitors.
