Inabe City Bairin Koen Park is a public park within the agricultural park of Inabe City in Mie Prefecture. Bairin refers to a park of plum blossom trees. Plum blossoms (ume) bloom in March and the whole park turns into a sea of white and pink flowers. In April and May, peonies bloom and in late June, you can experience plum picking. The park is a top spot for taking pictures but make sure to check ahead whether the flowers you want to see are already in bloom, as the timing changes slightly every year based on the climate.
