Nagashima Spa Land is a major amusement park located in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. One of the most visited amusement parks in the world, Nagashima Spa Land has some impressive features, with numerous roller coasters and other thrill rides, a giant Ferris wheel and even a water park. Nagashima Spa Land is also home to the world's longest roller coaster, the mighty Steel Dragon 2000, which opened in the year 2000 to celebrate the year of the Dragon, and is an impressive 2,479 m (8,133 ft) long.
