Kurohime Kogen is famous in the winter for its Kurohime Kogen Snow Park. In the summer, the snow slopes are used as part of the Kurohime Kogen Cosmos and Dahlia garden, with lots of people such as couples, families, and friends coming to visit. With over 50 different types and over 20,000 rings of dahlias beautifully coloring the area, the summer is also an exquisite time to visit Kurohima Kogen. At the end of the flower season, there are even events where you can pick your own flowers and dig the bulbs to take home. In the autumn/fall, over 1,000,000 cosmos flowers beautifully and vividly color a total space of 38,000 square meters, which consists of over 50 different types of cosmos all over the world. This scenery is so overwhelmingly beautiful that news reporters chose it as the best cosmos in Japan. Another feature that you have to try out at Kurohime Kogen is the panorama lift. With the refreshing wind and sea of blooming flowers below your feet, all accompanied by the Shinshu mountain range and Lake Nojiri before your eyes, the panorama lift experience will surely make for a lasting memory.
