Kusatsu Yubatake, the Yubatake "hot water field", is the single highest volume source of hot spring water in Japan. Given it's rate of 5000 liters of hot water per minute, you can expect a wealth of ryokans and public baths around the Yubatake. You don't even have to pay anything to enjoy the waters of the Yubatake, there is a central foot bath where you can rest your tired feet for free. One of the most relaxing locations in Gunma prefecture, if not all of Japan, visitors should make sure to not miss a trip to Kusatsu Yubatake during their stay in Japan.
