Standing at 1,955 meters tall, Mt. Tsurugi is the tallest mountain in Tokushima Prefecture and the second tallest in the Shikoku region. The climb up the mountain is relatively easy, and there are some spectacular views along the way, making it a popular hiking spot. The entire mountain can be trekked in about two hours, or there visitors can choose to take the chairlift partway, shortening the hike to a leisurely 30 minutes.
