Oboke Gorge is an 8km wide canyon that was formed 200 million years ago by the rapids of the Yoshino River that transverses through the Shikoku mountain range. The formation of the beautiful rocks and V-shaped valley help shed light on the origins of the Japanese archipelago, and as a place valued nationwide it was designated as Natural Monument. On the river you can enjoy fun activities such as rafting and floating.
