Ochiai Village is a mountain village designated as a National Preservation Site, mainly featuring traditional buildings. There are about 70 houses built on a steep slope with an elevation change up to 390m high. You can encounter a nostalgic, untouched mountain village with stone walls and fields built one after another along the steep slope. In the houses, you also can see rooms that give you a sense of the traditional Japanese lifestyle.
