Yanaka Ginza is a local shopping street near Ueno Park in Tokyo, Japan. It is a great place to experience an old town atmosphere within the bustling metropolis and is a good choice for combining with a visit to Ueno Zoo or the Ueno museums. It is a short walk away from Nippori station and the Yanaka graveyard. Reasonable prices and small traditional shops provide an interesting contrast to the elegant Ginza shopping district from which the area takes its name. You might also like to explore the Yomise-dori street which is just around the corner and features additional neighborhood shops.
