Yunodai Shokudo is a local-based restaurant established in 1980. It closed its doors in March 2016, but the son of the owners took over and reopened the restaurant in October 2017. The interior of the restaurant consists of a counter and tables, and of raised seating where you take of your shoes and get up onto tatami mats. It is visited by local people and many customers from outside the prefecture. Its salted or soy sauce flavored ramen is simple and light. Additionally, the Char-siu pork (sliced BBQ Pork) rice is a unique dish in which sweet and spicy pork is in harmony with rice, and once it is sold out, it won't be made again that day; so we hope that you will eat this delicacy. Closeby down the road, there is a hot spring inn called Yunodai Onsen "Tsuruzumiso," so it is recommended that you enjoy the hot spring after your meal.
