Ehime

Ehime Prefecture is located on the westernmost part of Japan's Shikoku Island and is connected to Hiroshima Prefecture on Honshu via bridges across small islands. The scenic route from Ehime Prefecture to Hiroshima Prefecture is known as Shimanami Kaido and is one of the most popular cycling routes in Japan. Anyone cycling this route that goes through the Seto Inland Sea cannot help but notice the many citrus fruit plantations which Ehime is famous for. A great variety of fresh citrus fruits are farmed here, including some you may not have known existed. Points of interest in Ehime include Dogo Onsen hot spring and the historical Uchiko and Ozu towns.
