Dockyard Garden in Yokohama is a restored commercial dock. Historically having played a large part in the trade and commerce of Yokohama, it was decided that it would be improper to demolish it and, even while not retaining any functionality in the 21st Century, it was restored with the construction of the nearby Yokohama Landmark Tower.
