Hakone Yuryo Onsen is a hot spring facility that has that old style house in a mountain village vibe to it. With large and spacious baths, outdoor open air baths, giant jar baths, as well as 19 private hot-spring baths (the most in the Tokyo area), there is a total of 27 different types of hot-spring available for visitors to enjoy! The alkaline hot spring water here at this onsen is said to be good for neuralgia, bad blood circulation and recovery from fatigue among other things. You can even rent a Yukata (a type of traditional Japanese attire) for a little added cost. Also, the Hakone Yuryo Onsen has an emphasis on food too, and you can sit back and enjoy authentic Irori cuisine (food made with a Japanese hearth) as well as delicious fish cuisine too!
